Bernardo and Carol moved from Araraquara, in the state of São Paulo, to the state of Santa Catarina in 1983 and have established 3 churches there, headquartering in Tijucas (see map). Their main ministry is church planting and looking after them. They travel a good distance doing this every week as the groups are in different towns. A radio ministry also is growing in the town of São João Batista (see map). One of their boys, Paul, recently joined the Mission and is helping in the work in Araraquara, along with his wife, Mariana.
